How do you soft-mod a psp battery to pandora with a custom firmware psp?

first what kind of psp do you have? Not all psps can softmod

Well, i do believe 5.02gen-a has this feature built in. check the vsh menu

There is a program for it on the psp. You have to use the recovery menu to change it to pandora though. I forget the name of the program.

Like geek said, it depends on what kind of psp you have since they all can't do it.......also, all the GEN firmwares have the feature to convert to a pandora (except GEN C, I believe)

yeah you need CFW (custom firmware) not OFW (official firmware) to softmod you gotta hardmod or buy your own pandora to mod it

if i hard mod my battery is there a way to get it back to reg after im done putting the cfw on my psp? sorry for all the questions just trying to figure this out....thanks

yeah you just undo the hardmod, but it can be tricky and to be honest a pandora only cost $6 on DealExtreme: Cool Gadgets at the Right Price - Site-Wide Free Shipping (Page 1) but the downside is you're gonna have to wait for your battery if you order from there

Well let me ask you this..have you ever soldered before?

yes i have but i wouldnt trust myself trying to split the battery open and messing with the inside if that is were you getting at if not pls inform me......
