Hey i just thought i'd see if anyone knew what was up with my TV

It has these odd white glow patches in 2 places, if your sitting directly infornt of the TV its fine, but if you have friends around and they're at an angle it becomes trouble some. I've taken a picture to show you what i mean



Is there anyway way i can solve this?

If it's Plasma and you left it on for a while on a still image (for example if you paused a show or movie), it probably burned in. Depending on how burned in it is, it might or might not go away slowly.

Its not a plasma, its an LCD

yeah looks like you burned a white image into the screen. this can be temporary or permanent depending how long it was on.

Check your backlights - If it's an LCD, it likely has many - It seems like either some of your backlights are malfunctioning (either the tubes or the drivers), or something's up with the diffuser (less likely)...
