I've moved to University and am trying to go online on my PS3, i have a NAT Type 3 setting. I can sign on the PS Network & go on the PS Store. but none of my games will connect online. I've been looking at alot of help threads. Alot of them Advise going on the router settings, but i cant do that as its a University Router. Is there anyway i can sort this out?

Well it could depend on how you're connecting to the router. Is it wireless or using an Ethernet cord?

The school's security is killing you. If this doesn't seem to pan out, then you should look for computer club/group of students who probably found away around this. There's almost no router you can't get around.

If all else fails, attempt to talk to the network administrator(the person/people who handles the internet for the school) tell him you can't seem to get your work from the internet, or whatever excuse that sounds like an actual problem.

Yes its an ethernet port..... I've tired ring up all week but they never call back when they say they're going to, highly inconsiderate in my eye.

all i did to get NAT Type 2 was disable the Media Server under Network Settings.
but if u already did that and it didnt work, idk what to tell ya.
