PSP vs DS sales

i second that. the psp is expensive, delicate, and has only a handful of decent titles, while the ds is cheap, slightly more durable, and more fun games then the psp.

sony good for= internet browsing (psp), music (mp3 and cd players),video, anything related to media, and locoroco :O

nintendo: for everything else involving gaming

ds is a big seller also cause of compatibility with older gameboy type games, my nephews love it and thats the only reason my sister bought it for them cause of the games and the ease of use. just click start nuthin easier for a 5 year old and that damn pokemon game

I gave my sister an old skool GBA (non flip). She is five and cant even get oast 2nd level of original mario. When I go to visit my parents she doesn't have the slightest interest in touching the PSP, I let her play some emulators on it and she put it down in like 30 seconds.

Yeah, the original DS is built like a freaking tank. Unfortunately, it's about as bulky as one, too.

Anyone who has a Lite and wants an original, I'll gladly trade xD

I second that, Nintendo had Loco Roco....... say bye bye to PSP. The DS was sold out nationwide when it was released too. Just like the PS3. I dont know if this happened to the PSP... ?

seems to be sonys tactics as of recently. over priced systems w/ shit for games. took the psp like a year to get some good games... wtf

Ya the psp looks cool to a teen but dosnt to a child......and children like more hands on things (hence the touch screen)

Yep! You can run homebrew on a DS but since mostly children play it they dont even think about it or even want to. There knowledge of computers is smaller so it would confuse them.

how would anyone above the age of twelve want a DS the games are OK but the psp has EVERY system capable of beinbg it. psx, n64, gameboy advance, color etc. cmon the choice is obvious! The psp can do ANYTHING for god sakes.
