i just got my new pc and it has windows vista installed. The problem here is none of my usb devices are being shown on the computer. i plug in my iPod and it shows its charging so i know the USB is good, but it dosent show the drive or anything. i connect my digital camera and the usb option comes up that only comes up if the usb is connected so i know its not the USB again and once again nothing is shown?

so any of the other vista owners know how to fix this?

It might be because you used them on your XP I'm guessing.
go to troubleshooting I think and update the driver and if that doesn't work then i don't know.

Did you try to update the driver?
i think you click the USB thing in the task bar and it shows you what is connected. It says if it is working correctly if you click on a certain one and allows you to update it or rollback. Now Vista might be different and require you buy new USB cables I'm not sure. Yet another reason i still haven't got it.

well then that is just messed up.
if it is a brand new computer bring it back and say it has a few issues(explain of course) and they will give you a new one. I know best buy does it for first 2 weeks
