    Good afternoon

I must at the onset, advise that what I know about PSP's is dangerous and can be inscribed on a pin head with a blunt chisel.

Be that as it may, my son was recently given a PSP with the capability of playing downloaded games.

In his eagerness to explore, he selected format and lost loaded games and can no longer play downoaded games. The unit still works with original sony disks though.

Please could somebody advise the best way to restore the PSP to the state that it was in before the format took place.

    Many Thanks

You can't get back the games that were on your memory stick if you formated it.I also can't give you a link to downloadable games all I can say is google it.Sorry.

    Hi There

The firmware version is 2.71 and the memory stick is a 2 gig.

I note that the ISO folder is not present - this obviously needs to be put back - could you advise on how to do this.

    Many Thanks

sounds like he updated the firmware past where it was hacked,

good news, just downgrade and upgrade to a custom firmware

bad news, the games are gone, but they can be found again and reloaded from the internet unless he had ISO's
