tinyxp is a stripped down version of winXp that makes it run faster. I use XP lite as i find it faster and better, but they just take all of the crap out of the install that you dont really need.
    Very funny....not.

I find it more efficient to strip it down myself as maybe something they find "obsolete" I use...

    one question...

how can one defrag program be better than another?
they all do the exact same thing (at least they should)

Diskeeper has won many many many achievements as best in performance and speed and job well done amongst apps that do the same job. Diskeeper will defrag a lot of stuff others defrag programs wont as well.

Right now Diskeeper has the crown

hey canada, you've peaked my interest in xplite: how does it work? do you have to reinstall windows or does it remove everything unneeded upon installation?

Its basically the same as installing xp the normal way. Its an iso you can download from the usual places (torrent sites). It has to be a clean install, so you'll need to format and install again. It has sp2 already installed and it automatically runs the wga crack, so you just pop in the cd and go. When i installed it on my current machine it took all of 8minuts from the time i botted up until it was finished, and thats on an old 1.8ghz/768mb ram pc. Its way fast; after booting up i have comodo and NOD32 running and it uses something like 280mb ram. I've been using it since July with no problems. Look for XPLite Performance Edition. The guy that makes them usually has a new one each month, so check them all out to see whats best for you.

    Diskeeper ftw.

    Defrag?

Now i remember that i have not defrag my hdd for years. . .

Last time i defrag, it need about a day to finish!

Having about half TB Hdd full with small files, games, animes, musics, home videos, really make defrag take a lot of time. . .

^ You should partition off a section for just storage. I have a storage partition and i've not had to defrag it in 2 years. The OS partition has to defrag of course, but the storage files dont move or anything so i dont have to worry about it.

the windows is on separate HardDisk

the HDD for games got fragmented very fast.
and for animes, almost never fragmented
