Always shop around at NewEgg and Fry's. You'll want an lcd screen if you play videogames alot since plasmas can burn-in and that will really piss you off. Make sure it has a good contrast ratio like 1000:1 or higher. If you want 1080p you arent going to find one much bigger than 40", but if you are ok with 720p you'll be able to afford one much bigger, it just depends on how picky you are.
    Very funny....not.

Target stores, and possibly target.com have a Sony 32" LCD for 899.99. Personally, I have a Samsung and love it. I had an Olevia, don't bother.

For the money I would go for LG brand I know there is a brand that has HD flatscreens its a lower end brand but its not a sh*tty brand it starts with a V i think I saw it at sam's it was like 999.99 for a 32inch flat panel. If it doesnt matter about the brand then it will be easy to find all you are really paying for is the name anyway.
Upgraded My first PSP all the way to 3.51!!! Hell yea, then got online the next night and found out you can mod them, so I yelled as loud as I could with my inside voice WTF?!?!?!?! I sold it to some dork and bought a used one for 80 bucks... So 2 crappy nights and 80 bucks later!!!!!

    2.71>2.8>3.51 M33> 3.52 M33!!! Best 80 bucks I have ever spent!!!

    well Ive made my decision.
    42"
    1080p
    4 hdmi ports
    ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM Tuner
    5000:1 contrast
unfortunately 24hz. but for the rock bottom price of $1050, that sounds pretty damn good.
    42" 1080p LCD HDTV
