all right, my laptop keeps overheating, the fans sound like an airplane engine and the bottom of it is almost to hot to touch. my plan at the moment is to get a new fan and maybe try to clean out the insides of the laptop, my warranty is long gone so it doesn't matter what i do with it. any suggestions?

I don't mod much anymore, but I do give good game advice.

you can buy these fan things which you sit your laptop on and it keeps it so much cooler.
it's about the size of a laptop and sits about 5cm of the ground. you just put your laptop on it and it keeps in cool. i would recommend one of these.
you can pick them up off ebay for 10-20 bucks.

yeah i own a computer repair shop and alot of times those laptop fan bases work great. and most of them use usb power so you dont have to lug around a power supply.

also deff clean out the laptop with some compressed air. and a fan replacement will help some times as well. (if the currently installed fan are not spinning fast enough of not spinning at all)

if its an older laptop that only has vents on the bottom make sure you DONT set it on anything cloth like a bed or couch. cause you dont want to block the vents.

yeah, i'm careful not to let the vents get covered up. well, i was thinking those fan things you sit your laptop on were a scam or something, but i'll give them a try now. thanx all.
