format your memory stick...you probably didnt format your memory stick after updating so you psp has no place to save the bookmarks

if that doesnt work try to restore the default system settings

you could downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade again...that would completely restore your flash
i duno how but its possible that you may have damaged your flash memory somehow

my 2.0 browser also is fucked. it loads the homepage and then 1-2 pages after that then my psp locks up and freezes and i have to take the battery out
PSP v2.01+ cannot be downgraded. BUT. there is a solution. find a PSP noob and trade them if they have under 2.01

    lol.. V1.5 obtained: March 2 2006

Well, if your not planning on using homebrew, you could always upgrade to 2.6, the web-browser on 2.6 is solid.
    Just a thought
