What is the best gaming computer I could get for $4500?

lol dont buy alienware you could make a alienware computer for cheaper... really what your paying for is the name and alien wares are really bulky.

yeah, I was looking at alienware computers but then I realisied how much you get ripped off. so ill look at the tigerdirect site and browse. Thanks![]()

Well it depends entirely what you want out of it? Multimedia, video/audio processing/editing etc, or for gaming? Whatever you want, DON'T get something branded, go for a custom build, it will always be cheaper and better for you.
Yeah I want it for gaming so I can play Far Cry 2 type graphics. Oh and I also live in australia if that helps.

with tigerdirect.com do they send computers out to Australia?

Honestly the best way to get exactly what you want for the best price is to write down what you want it to do, then take that to a local shop that does custom builds and ask them for a price estimate.
Or i'm sure if you look online there are some places in Australia that do custom builds online that will ship across the country. Just try google custom build pc and see what you come up with.![]()
Honestly, I would say Alienware if your into good graphics and gaming. But your mainly just paying for an expensive looking case. You could honestly just buy the components and make a computer just as good. I love my Sony Vaio personally, I do SOME gaming but it runs Linux great and I never lag for anything. That's my opinion.
i made my own computer and it ended up being $5000 but it includes accessories
I built mine for around 700 and it will play any game made at 1680x1050.
Got my parts mostly from newegg, but the Video card a 4850, used from ebay.
