    As the topic says, thats the message I get when I try to delete a file off my PSP through my computer. I cant delete it on my PSP either. If anyone could help out here Id appreciate it...
    Yes I know I have the option to format my ms, but right now I dont feel like backing up 8 gigs worth of stuff...

    It won't take that long to back up it and you should always keep backups if possible.
    I don't know of another way to remove a file from flash memory.

    yea. i thought so too :P
    but just to let anyone reading this know.. i got the undeleteable folder after i tried sofiacats MUGEN for the PSP. everything was running fine before that. now my psp wont run some games, freezes on music,videos, and the games that do run.

    have you tried reformatting the memory stick?

    Is the memory stick fake? If you dont know go to any of the sections in the xmb and press triangle and see if magicgate is supported if not, it is fake. But usually fake memory sticks have problems with file management

    I still say reformat it. try remformatting it both on your psp and your computer. (right click drive and reformat for computer)
