Which OS Do You Prefer?

I've only used windows and mac, and I would say that windows is better. I've never tried Linux and I've never seen it, but I'd like to give it a go when I get started on computer programming.

this is the attitude that killed vista, yes it has its fair share of bugs, but overall its a nice system, now I won't disagree that the xp compat is a bitch, but overall its a good system, but no all you people expect jesus to pop out of the comp and make your life better, so stop bitching you got your wish vista will die within the next year,

The only reason why people hate vista is because it got bad reviews in the beginning. It's much better now than when it started. In fact, those that still bitch about vista now either have an old version of vista, a crap basic version, or a computer with old parts running vista. Vista optimizes its memory and processor use so with an old machine, it might not work to well.

For what purpose?
I've yet to really run into a situation using Windows that I couldn't do with a mac. At least I can't think of anything.

And Linux is bust for design. No photoshop, no flash, illustrator, or final cut..

there are decent photo editing programs for linux.

there def is flash - dont know why you say there isnt? i have had flash since i started using ubuntu with 7.10


windows is the msot widely used. i have had NO problems with windows. if somethign went wrong (very rare) i can figure it out and fix it myself relatively quickly. mac OSX is garbage. its widely known that OSX is crap, and the only peopel who cant seem to grasp that are mac fanboys/yuppy assholes whot hink steve jobs is gods gift to the planet.
