So I'm a Mac user. However, I need to use some Windows only things sometimes, so I figured I'd install Windows. I have Parallels that I bought a while back, but uninstalled Windows. So, I decided to go with Parallels again rather than bothering to partition my HD. So I got myself a copy of Windows XP Black Edition, and went to install it. Installation worked and XP booted up. However, it wasn't Black Edition. Instead, it was normal XP. I'm wondering, do I have to do something special, or did I just get ripped off with a normal XP?
I have a key. I have to anyway, since Parallels asks for one during the setup (pre-install, when Parallels is still setting it up, and before it boots from the Install Disk/ISO for the first time). But what's the difference between Black and Dark Edition?

Hmm, from what I hear, Black Edition does the same, unless they're confusing the names.
Yeah, anyway, I'll give it a try and see.
