You'll need to compile, link and run the source code. Bloodshed DevC++ is a good tool, everything is integrated into the working environment: Editor, compiler, linker. DevC++

Telling me you have a compiler doesn't help. Every compiler is different. Is it a command-line or GUI compiler?

Well if it's GUI (graphic user interface) then try looking at the top of the window for something like "execute" or "compile" or something similar, or try reading the documentation that came with it. If it's command line, open up cmd.exe, cd to the directory, and run the program with the proper options and arguements, IE: compiler.exe "C:\mycpluspluscode.cpp" . If you'll give me the name of the compiler I can look into it further.

Yeah, no problem. I'm actually getting into the C++ world myself. I will admit, the compiler you're using seems a bit cryptic. I would suggest using a GUI compiler versus a command-line, it proves to be much more user-friendly. As mentioned above, DevC++ is a good one, there are others out there as well. But if you want to stick with what you have, then I suggest reading the documentation
