I just bought a REAL (NOT FAKE) Sandisk 8G pro duo ms from Harvy Norman, and i formated it on my PSP as normal with new ms's and then i went to put something on my new ms, when it said i needed to format the ms using windows, so i did, and then it said on the side "3.7G available out of 3.7G" (i bought an 8G ms)
so i just put it back in my PSP and then formated it again and it said 7.6G available.
Then i plugged my PSP back into the PC and it said i needed to format my ms

Whats wrong and how can i fix it?

Use the USB cable to connect to your computer while the memory stick is in your PSP. Your card reader appears to only read up to 4GB. Driver/firmware update possibly? What are you using to read it in your computer?

Yeah it's too low. I think 2.81 enables 8GB use. You got it though, use the other PSP.
