Digital Camera Software

Is there any good free digital software out there for my digital camera? And is there anyway after I transfer my pictures to my computer, can I transfer them back on to my camera. I just wanted to delete some temporary sorry if it sounds confusing. Thanks

If you're interested in the files themselves, just grab them through My Computer. But if you're talking about photo management and organization, Google's Picassa is great.

I copied them over to a folder on my pc deleted them on my camera tried to drag and drop some over to my camera but it wouldnt let me place them back on it.

if its a SD then you might have the switch on read only.
