I need a 7"-10" lcd, battery powered, as thin as possible. All the ones I have found don't run off of a battery. If there is a way to make a power supply for one run off of a rechargeable battery, great, I just need to know how.

Im going to custom build my saxophone case out of polycarbonate. In my band class, on free days, the T.V. is fought over violently because we have a PS2, a GameCube, and occasionally an xbox 360, as well as numerous games. I plan on implimenting a light-weight LCD so I can always have a solution, and in turn, CONTROL THE BAND!!!!! Mwahahaha!
So, pretty much because I'm bored and need a project for the coming summer.

Technically you could jury rig any LCD to function off a battery, the question is what battery and how far are you willing to go.

As long as it can use an s-video in and doesn't cost more than $100, I don't care.
