putting games onto psp

hi, i was wondering if any 1 can help me, with putting games onto my psp as every one ive tried never works. it would b much appriciated if you could get back to me via e-mail,,,, @ k_r_c_yeo@hotmail.co.uk thanks

1. Open the UMD drive.
2. Insert a game UMD.
3. Turn on the psp
4. The game may auto-start, if not then go to "Games" and press the X button. Then select the UMD disk shaped icon and press the X again.

I am brilliant! But seriously, what firmware version do you have? That makes a big difference with how to go about running non UMD games.
