what are the main differences between the models eg 1000k and 1007k and the motherboards
are the newer models in japan able to play older games?

homebrew so far works all the way up to 2.71 so far,

but it runs best on 1.5, 1.5 runs it the best and the fastest, and runs almost all homebrew

the higher the firmware the less homebrew it can run

just think of the 1.5 as a golden firmware

well as far as downgraders go
the highest you can downgrade is 2.71,
and you CANNOT downgrade a TA-82 motherboard psp,

newer psp will probably have a high firmware and a TA-82 motherboard,

thats why i said to go find a used one, because it might have a non downgradable firmware and a non TA-82 motherboard

Well they come in 3 flavors...
    Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry...

The Chocolate one runs on diesel, and the cigarette lighter in it doesn't work well. But thats ok because i don't' smoke. The Vanilla one comes with frosting on top, but sometimes when you're stirring your coffee the screen will crack. If you stick with Strawberry, you SHOULD be okay... it's using the new hybrid technology (saves a lot of money in the long run). Dark_AleX is working on the carburetor as we speak, but as long as you keep it under 50, she'll run fine.

    tee-hee...

yea i fell off topic... i just thought the question was pointless
Lets just say someone did all their research... and came back to this post and said:
lickity splitz: there are 8 motherboards!

Just how useful is that information?

Well.. if someone does go out and aquires all this information for lickity... please tell me how many capacitors are on each of the motherboards while your at it.
Also... please let me know the current (mA) flowing from resistor 8 through to resistor 7 on Motherboard 3.

This information is as vital to me as the motherboard count is for lickity
