i still think ur tv is going to be to big for gaming.
depends on how big the room is too. a 55" tv belongs in a enormous living room. a bedroom or smaller room (less then 20x20 overall" can get away with between 26 and 32 inch. ideally, you want a tv that will allow you to see the entire screen with minimal movement of the eyes.
in my 15x12 bedroom, i had a 42" and felt it was far too big. i have a 27" now and its much better by comparison. dont just buy the biggest tv you can afford... consider the size of the room and how far away youll be from the tv at any given time while viewing it.
LCD for gaming.
Plasma will get picture burn.
basically the HUD will be burnt into the screen and u will constantly see ur minimap, ammo and other images that sit still on the screen for long periods of time on ur screen at all times...while watching tv, movies, playing other games..whatever.
at that range, you shouldnt be going over like 32" tops
well just bought both and a free NFL10 but i just have to wait for its been shipped...o yea Jules,Pen,Carp thanks for the advise. I was looking at the HDMI cable its like $70 what's that for better picture quality o what.
yeah, pretty much...so if you're hooking it up to an hd tv, go for the cables most definitely.
that's actually a good question...i don't know, i don't even use those cause my tv isn't hd but it's a great screen, 27 inch.
main tv is hd but ps3's in the game room with no cable wire, so my sis watches the tv while i play online lol...no conflicts
still can get mad use out of it in the living room for now...connect right to the wifi, stream from the pc to it, blue ray player. lots to do with it.
not to be a dick, but why ask for our advice and then not even consider it?
