    PSP 1001 w/Battery - Works Great
    4GB Memory Card
    Charger
    USB cable
Only one UMD Disc (Sims 2)
Running firmware 5.50 GEN-D3 (updated as per Jubbabubba's instructions below)

I traded for this thinking it would be easy to sell, but have had no luck on craigslist. Ebay is a hassle so i figured I'd try this first. Here's some pics:

    Asking $75.

Selling ROMS/ISO's is illegal buddy. Try selling just the PSP and accessories...

Updating the cfw may help. The price is good, looks to be in nice condition as well.

    Installing CFW:
    Step 1:
    Installing 5.00m33-6 (Hellcat's Recovery Flasher V1.60):

1: Download: PSP Downloads | Recovery Flasher v1.60
2: Download: PSP Downloads | 5.00 Firmware Update
    3: Extract "RECOVERY" to X:\PSP\GAME\
    4: Extract the Eboot.PBP to X:\PSP\GAME\RECOVERY\ *Rename the Eboot.PBP to 500.PBP*
5: Run Hellcat's, make sure the Target firmware is set to 5.00, then go down one and select Install CFW. Followed by "reset (format) settings as well" *It is recommended that you have your AC adapter plugged in as well while flashing fw. If the psp were to turn off mid flash, it would result in a bricked psp. Restorable only by Pandora + MMS*

    Step 2:
    Installing 5.50 Gen-D3 (Latest cfw):

    1: Download: PSP Downloads | Custom Firmware 5.50 GEN-D3
2: Remove any UPDATE folder from X:\PSP\GAME\
3: Extract 550.PBP & the PSP folder to the Root of your MS.
4: Run the installer. *It is recommended that you have your AC adapter plugged in as well while flashing fw. If the psp were to turn off mid flash, it would result in a bricked psp. Restorable by Recovery modes Recovery Folder (Accessed by holding down the Right trigger when turning the psp on) or Pandora + MMS*

Running the updater... Got some errors you could probably shed some light on:

    Code:
Installing firmware - PSP model : Classic "FAT" PSP
Updater used to extract FW: 500.PBP

    Unassigning flashs....
FATAL: Error 0x80020321 while unassigning flash0:
WARNING: Error 0x80020321 while unassigning flash1:
     * Disabling, settings format, clearing registry!
    flash2: wasn't assigned - that's OK
    flash3: wasn't assigned - that's OK
    Extracting special updater .PRX....
    Loading updater modules
     Error 80010002 loading/starting nand_updater.prx
     Error 80010002 loading/starting lfatfs_updater.prx
     Error 80010002 loading/starting lflash_fatfmt_updater.prx
    Any thoughts?

UPDATE: I moved the 500.PBP file to the base directory on the memory card now have this:

    Code:
Installing firmware - PSP model : Class "FAT" PSP
    Updater used to extract 500.PBP

    Unassigning flashs....
    flash2: wasn't assigned - that's OK
    flash3: wasn't assigned - that's OK
    Extracting special updater .PRX....
    Loading updater modules
     Error 80010002 loading/starting nand_updater.prx
     Error 80010002 loading/starting ltatfs_updater.prx
     Error 80010002 loading/starting lflash_fatfmt_updater.prx
could the loading errors be a problem with the 500.PBP file? possibly corrupt?

You could try redownloading the update file, extracting it to the computer first, then dragging it to the MS. Not real sure, I've never experienced an error through Hellcat's :x.

I'd have to look it up.

Edit: So far every place I've looked that had the same problem, has remained unsolved. Going to continue to look. xD

    http://www.consolespot.net/forums/ps...lp-anyone.html

This person had accidently renamed the firmware file to 3.71.pbp, rather than 371.pbp. Try checking to make sure that your firmware file is named "500.pbp"

This guy at the bottom of the thread just had to move the update file to the root of the Ms, but I think you already said you tried that.

And it seems this lysi guy just kept trying until it worked for him. x_x

Originally, i extracted to the desktop first, then renamed. But i just tried it again, and now it's working. Interesting... It's installing the firmware now, I'll edit later with the result. Thanks for the help.

It is a pretty good deal. Do me a favor and post on here if you end up selling it. I may want it in a few weeks if you haven't yet...

... why are you selling it?
