I remember a few years back I had Windows ME and there was an interesting mod you could do. It was called 3D Desktop, whenever you logged on to your account rather than seeing a boring desktop, you could "walk" around and shoot hoops and activate programs by simply walking up to them

these are the min. requirements. your computer cant be that bad.
i just hope it works on vista

there are way more than 3dna although im not sure which of them provide the freedom of movement that they do
