Default Install windows using usb

does any one know how i can do this?
im trying to install windows xp on acer aspire one but keep getting errors when i try to boot from the usb.
please help.

Default Install windows using usb

Just extract the contents of the image you used onto the USB stick, and run the setup.exe from the computer.

No point in fucking around with booting from USB, unless you are somehow unable to run it.

the thing is i need to format the hard drive and can only do that if i boot from the usb.

I know this may sound foolish and long... but you could take out the hard drive put it in a PS3 (if you have one) and format it from there.

not foolish but long. i did that the last time. the only problem im no where near a screw driver.

try making a bootable windows xp recovery cd and copy the contents to the usb

can find online if you look hard enough im sure just d/l all the drivers you need before hand
