make software cd bootable
hi Noob here! i have a bunch of software like photoshop and Ashampoo Burning Studio and so on, what im trying to do is get them off my flashdrive and on to a CD or DVD but make the boot them selves with out going into My Computer every time i need to install it. i wont every software on its own disk. Is there a Format or something that will help like iso or ...? So how can i make them boot or startup them selves like a store bought disk would do? thanks |

I'm confused. You want to run the program off of a CD/DVD? Install the program on the computer, then burn its entire directory onto a CD/DVD/

So in other words, you want autorun? Open up notepad, follow this format:
[AutoRun]
open=whatever.exe
Then, click save, but change the file type to All Files. Then for name, type "Autorun.inf". When you burn the CD/DVD, put that in the root.

It's called autorun. You need to create a file called "autorun.inf" and put it at the root of the CD/DVD. The contents of the "autorun.inf" file should look like this. Code: [AutoRun]
open=setup.exe Now "setup.exe" is just an example, but most likely that's in fact the file you want to autorun when you insert the disk. If it's not and lets say the file is called, "install.exe", then you would change the "autorun.inf" code appropriately. Understand?
EDIT: Beat me to it. |

You're confused. ISO is just a container. Just burn the files straight to the disk through Windows. |

You can open the ISO, copy the files to a temporary directory, add the Autorun file into that folder, and then burn all of the contents of that folder.

Seriously, I cannot figure out what the hell you are trying to say sometimes. Slow down when you type. But I'm glad you got it working. |
