Best Windows XP Version ???

ok... ASSUMING one plans to insert their own legit keycode after downloading the HACKED XP we're talking about (make it legally and all...)

Got a new 250G IDE drive today and wanna try something new.

Replacing my old 30G (yes, 30G). I'm running basic Windows XP Pro v5 SP2

I want something SMALLER, FASTER, but has some eye candy.
Seen a number of nlited versions around 500-800mb to download.
Some are small, less registry stuff so faster, and have VISTA enchancements.

couple I was liking was:
Windows XP Dark Performance Edition (v7 i think)
Ultimate XP SP3
Black
(even just a small, fast, low processes XP SP3, and I can add vista gizmoes etc later)

Anyone familiar with any? size, processes, features.
I need to be able to connect usb devices (like webcam and sticks), run Office, Windows Live Messenger, etc... (sometimes those are hacked) -- but don't need to update.

ANY EXPERIENCE, PREFERENCES would be appreciated.
(also, any known fakes, infected ones, etc... for warning would be nice)

Just install a regular untouched SP3 Pro.

Do you really want a version of windows which was touched by some retard?

Any customizations you want, do yourself.

i mean...i dont know where online to find a non-hacked version. at home i only have as high as xp2000

Im using xp pro i "found" on the net on my dual boot vista/XP system

Im using a serial i "found" on the net

Works a treat and updates, genuine notification passes every time and has been working for last 3 years ;-)

There is no such thing as XP2000. If you have a geniune key, why don't you have a genuine disc? I'm betting you don't, and are just looking to pirate windows.

Ok, so you are looking to pirate XP. Here is what i think you should do. Download Window 7 RC from somewhere. Get a product key here:

Windows 7 Release Candidate (RC) Download Is No Longer Available

Perfectly legal, and Windows 7 is better than XP.

I know your looking for windows help but you shouldn't forget abut Linux.
your looking for small and fast and there's DSL damn small linux that can boot from a floppy if you still have one

Ubuntu is a good windows replacment and you can run it off CD before install to try it.
personally i have win XP pro, Ubuntu, and OSX triple booting on my laptop and find i use ubuntu the most

Sure, we could solve ALL our problems and questions by googling, hell, every question on this site can be answered by googling but has it ever occured to you that instead of trawling through millions of out of date pages or useless info, hed actually prefer chatting to a human, Someone with experience that can help him?

This is a windows thread, whats the problem?
