Just extract the contents of the image you used onto the USB stick, and run the setup.exe from the computer.
No point in fucking around with booting from USB, unless you are somehow unable to run it.

im trying to install windows xp on acer aspire one but keep getting errors when i try to boot from the usb.
please help.

07-24-2009, 03:32 PM the thing is i need to format the hard drive and can only do that if i boot from the usb.
07-24-2009, 04:34 PM I know this may sound foolish and long... but you could take out the hard drive put it in a PS3 (if you have one) and format it from there.

can find online if you look hard enough im sure just d/l all the drivers you need before hand
