I'm hinting to him how to obtain it without posting a link directly to what he wants because piracy is a no-no here. You're very slow and have a very hard time picking up subtle things. It's ok though, you'll understand some day.

I truly hope the Mods on this site don't let this forum degrade to KMRs level.

We all know what the primary purpose of this forum is (besides just fun networking, well, fun for most)... it's no different when discussing XP related things.

I just dismiss his harassment as his words are merely a waste, nothing original... any 14 year old could reply the same.

But the mods would, I hope, get involved when senior members are attacked for trying to keep things civil.

And no one was asking for an open forum link to pirated materials, just as they don't link for ripped games... I think the post was direct and subtle to begin with.

ps- and yeah, as the other mate mentioned, I did swim through the hundred of alternative site solutions, AND their dozens of virus warnings...thus the post in here for a little clean guidance.

But again, I suppose if you don't have intelligent guidance to give (or use yourself), the next easiest thing to do (especially when not being given attention) is to lash out at someone.

KmR, you have a valid point but you need to chill it out a bit.

If there is further piracy talk or further flaming, I'm going to lock this. There are perfectly valid ways to completely customize a legitimate install of XP, and there are perfectly valid ways to politely remind someone of the piracy rules.
