Hi, trying to hook-up 2 monitors to 1 pc, i have the usbVGA splitter both monitors are working, however the second monitor i can only see the half of the desktop and there is a black bar on top of the screen (like the picture doesnt fit). Also im trying to to make it so i can do one thing on 1 monitor and something else on the other monitor, but whatever i do on the first monitor the second monitor just does the same thing? does any one know how to fix this? thank you for any advice.

you have to adjust your settings in the monitor control panel, or if you have one, a control panel specific to your graphics card.

Well my friend your computer has NO idea you have 2 monitors. See with a splitter is simply copying your output to the 2nd monitor. If you want dual monitors the best way to do it is to run them from separate video cards (or the same if your hardware has 2 outputs and supports dual capabilities, which it should if so).
BIO=+-.
most modern cards have a default vga and a(n) DVI,HDMI , S-Video or all of them, you can hook the other monitor to one of those to get dual monitors its better to extend the monitor than to have two of the exact same thing running at the same time.
