Default man! this is complicated

Ok, so today while I was at work at the fine Borders book store in mchenry I saw a kid using his psp in our cafe, so I started to chat with him and he told me about the wipeout pure web browser. I was blown away! He said that he did not have a router or anything, but that he could get a signal from our store using the t mobile hot spot. So of course I was so impressed that I went out and bought the game, and spent the entire night trying to figure out how to get this to work. He gave me directions off of cheatplanet.com. So I followed their instructions and then tried to access the browser in our cafe. I went to scan and it found the t mobile service but whenever I would click on the download option on the game it would say, You are entering a secure site, and then I would click OK and it would take me back to the choose a connection screen, and then when I would choose a connection a second time it would say, you are now leaving a secure site. Does anybody have any hints that might help me figure this out? I feel pathetic because I am a 23 year old man, and I was unable to understand directions from a 10 year old ( who is apparently better with this thing than myself).

thanks in advance
tyler

hm what do you mean by " whenever I would click on the download option on the game"? are you trying to download updates or do you just want to use the browser?

Default man! this is complicated

The thing is ur kinda tricking the wipeout browser to go to a site with links to other webpages, instead of the normal wipeout download site.

uh thats what i figured out so far,

first off what version of Psp Firm ware are you running ?
if it is 1.52 or higher.... you can wait for the psp 2.0 firmware upgrade. which should include a full feature browser, meaning you dont need wipe out to browse the internet.

If you have firmware 1.5 or lower , then i recommend not upgrading yet, since with that version you can play homebrew applications , meaning Emulators like SNES , NES, GENISIS, and etc.
... and figure out how to browse the internet using the wipeout browser, lol sorry i personaly dono how to use the wipeoutbrowser
