Not Enough Memory For The Internet!!???

When in on trhe internet with my psp why does it sometimes say NOT ENOUHG MEMORY. is it because my memory card is only 32mb or something else. please help me im a n00b

That would me my guess. But if you want to have music or play emu's then i suggest you get a bigger memory card. There not that expensive either.

Have you tried adjusting the browser cache?

yea that happens alot to me. it has to do with the internal memory. you gotta go to a shop and have them increase it. and you gotta buy a bigger internal mem card for the guy to put it in.

I dont think any shop you bring your PSP to will increase the integrated memory on the PSP. The only adjustable memory is the DUO slot.

yep its true. try going to those game shops that offer hardware repairs and mods cause thats the only place thatll do it and thats the only place you can buy it. and yes i know that sounds like a lie but its the only thing i can say. be prepared tho, costs 120 not including the shit you put inside it. and be ready to sign a waiver to release whatever place you go to for damages.

Not to sound like a smurf... I still dont think its possible.. Its like a laptop the internal memory is integrated on the main logic board.

huh? are you talking about the RAM memory on a laptop? those are even easier to change than on a normal computer

I think he is talking about internal memory for example a P4 chip has a 1mb internal L1 cache or whatever. i dont want to be a smurf either but it sounds like an extreme for a little bit more memory. mate the original post is you cannot get on to the net. i am a noob but i know for a fact with the standard 32MB memory you can get on to the net. i would suggest you have other issues, Router maybe??

If you are using the browser on the 2.0 psp, then regardless of the size of the memory stick you will have the same performance and the same "not enough memory messages". You can even get on the internet with no memory stick in the PSP. The 2.0 browser only runs off of system memory and has nothing to do with the Memory stick. The only time the browser interacts with the memory stick is if you add bookmarks or download something from the internet NOT from loading pages.

Ya I found a little way that helps out without blowing 150 bucks all you have to do is use ur psp closer to the router. It may sound like a pain, but its the cheapest way to load up those huge porn sites.

here's something new:

go to the tools section in the internet browser, and go to tools. select settings and go to cache. under the cache settings choose the do not use option.

voila.

I tried the "Do Not Use" option for the cache and recieved the same "Not Enough Memory" message.

ok the card has nothing to do with it and you could but shouldn't mess with the internal memory just st the save memory setting
