Yes it has to be a custom firmware. It can't be an official 3.71 it has to be 3.71 M33 or lower custom firmware versions if it works.

what do u mean open the cfg? when i do it is all garbled like bad language I can only read the exmple dev id = ABCDG

uh...yeah I cant figure out how to play movies at all....A blank screen with a little white strip at the top comes up and i press tringle and i type in the address and nothing

help me please,
i am running 3.71 m33-2
psp slim.
ii have game/game150/game371 in my psp folder.
where should i paste the psptube in.
and i do not know which folder to copy. 200over/100/150?
do i need to download eloader inorder to use homebrew software?
i keep getting corrupted file TT

hope anyone can solve my misery

anyway, i also tried the new version but it end up corrupted file.
is it that i should downgrade 3.71m33-2 to 3.71m33?
or i paste the wrong thing. i just pasted the CFW371M33 folder to my psp/game371. help (:

deaddolliie, take the PSPTube folder and put it in psp/game/ so it looks like this:

X:/psp/game/psptube

And im not sure if this is a secret or not, but im using security WPA-PSK (tkip) on my wireless and as long as i have my connection already set and the key entered it works just fine with this new version(2007/12/29 for cfw3.71m33-3) but im running 3.90m33.

also, i havent had time to read the rest of thread here but where do the files download to when saving? i take it that they save to game/psptube as a .flv file? (gotta 14mb file and i've only favorited one vid so far)

i just got wifi last night, and i was playing you tube videos all night...its easy, i have the lastest version that came out in Febuary...and i have 3.9m33 slim..all u have to do is choose a provider (press select) you can go Youtube, DailyMotion, Stage6, etc... then once you have that, hit circle twice...then search for a video for example, "halo 3" then wait for results, once you have results, use up and down... and L and R to go to the next set of results...then once you have the one you want, click X, its that simple, there is one feature i want, to be able to rewind...but oh well, also i want to know how to save video

ok i tried to install the update for this, the february release and all it has in the zip file is an eboot. so i switch that eboot with the old eboot in my psptube folder and i get this "try to load dvemgr.prx" error because it cant find that. specifically:

"error:ms0:/PSP/GAME/PSPTube/system/dvemgr.prx pspSkdLoadStarMoFavorites Folder:ms0"

where is the full bundle of the new psptube? i've tried several sources and all they have is that single ebout which does not work, wont let me search, i can type but it wont produce results, it'll ask for a connection and my connection is fine and it wont play my saved favorites vids. anyone run into this problem? should i just delete the old psptube completely?

::EDIT:: deleting the old one did not work either, the new eboot still gives the same error.

When you save a video.. It puts it in your favorites folder
