are you sure you're entering the codes correctly? and try getting closer to your router so that the signal strength is above 65%

try these:
Obviously check the wep key again.
#1. enter the routers set up page
(to get there, on the pc hooked to the router, click the start menu and type CMD in the search box. a command prompt window ill pop up.
type ipconfig /all (space between fig and /all)... a bunch of numbers will pop up. look for DEFAULT GATEWAY.. it will be a series of numbers that start like 192.168...
minimize the box and open the internet browser on that pc.
type the default gateway into the address bar and hit enter.
#2. more then likely, your problem is that you have a firewall on the router or, someone has put in place client lists which only allow computers with a specific ip address to log on.
#3. look around the pages until you find something like 'client list'.. and click it
#4. you will see a spreadsheet type layout... make sure the check box is unchecked... or if it is checked and see ip addresses (they will also start with 192.168...) type in an address that isnt listed... so say 192.168.211 isnt listed.. type that in.
now go to your psp, and try setting up the network again.. when you get to the screen that asks if you want to have the psp automatically configure the network settings.. go to the MANUAL box.
the first set of numbers will be your ip address for your psp.. type the same number you gave it in the client list menu...
maximize the command prompt window..
look for "DNS SERVERS"
there should be 3 listed.
the first one is the default router (it will be the same number as the default gateway you found in the command prmpt window).
the next two are the primary/secondary dns numbers
(if there is only 1 set then use that for both primary and secondary.
Now connect to the internet.
if it doesnt connect.. go back to the routers set up page, make sure these things are turned ON:
DHCP
UPnP
NAT
BROADCAST SSID
make sure PING BLOCKING and USE AS AN ACCESS POINT are turned OFF.
if that doesnt work.
more then likely you are using a 64bit wep encryption.. change it to either 128 or WPA-TKIP
wpa is more secure, and because you give it the password, its easier to remember. |

Reset your router, then your username/password will be admin/admin

try not using any security lol or using WEP. i see that when a router doesnt have security the internet browser goes a little faster. using WEP is a little bit slower when loading images and so on but its worth it if you want a secure network (thats not really all that secure. i mean its WEP.......grabage garbage garbage WEP) |

try checking if your computer even has the internet working...maybe you can find your network but it's not getting internet from your cable...try unplugging the cable from the wall for 20 seconds and plug it back in, wait a minute and then try connecting ur psp to the internt |

What WEP key are you trying to input? The passphrase or the actual generated key which is usually 26 hexadecimal characters (0-F) in length? What firmware do you have on your PSP? Also, who manages the router at home? If it isn't you, then I wouldn't suggest resetting it yourself or even changing any of the settings. Ask the person who manages it to help you set up your PSP for wireless access, otherwise, you're probably gonna piss him/her off.
