is there a problem with 3.52 and the internet?

Hi Guys, My psp firmware is 3.52 and after the thing reset itself it lost its WEP key, now i cant seem to get my connection working (I've done this before with other firmwares but it wont work now...) I entered my WEP key and i get a message saying "The characters you entered are not valid For hexadecimal: Use 10 or 26 characters from the ranges 0-9, a-f, and A-F For ASCII: Use 5 or 13 characters" I have checked the WEP key on the router and its the correct one. I've entered the Key correctly and as I said have done this many times and had no problems logging on to the router. Anyone had problems with the latest version software? Any ideas how to get back online? Best regards, Mark

Restore default settings and try it again.

make a new connection

by going to scan then enter the code and see if that works

if it does just delete the other one

oh and if ur going to do what canadianbacon said

make sure u backup everything on the root of your memory stick

cuz it erases everthing in your root of your memory stick

Well he said he would enter it correctly but said it wasn't working so I don't think that would work, but it's worth a shot..

And restoring default settings doesn't erase your memory stick

thanks for the replies guys, I don't think this is a router problem because the PSP isn't recognising the letters i'm putting in and they are correct. I checked again the WEP key and its still ok. To me there seems a problem with this software issue and the wireless link. Never come across this before and my internet link has been rock solid up until now?

and yes, have re scanned, still not recognising letters/number.
