Default Custom firmware broke my wireless?

Was just wondering if I'm the only one who's experienced this specific problem.

My first custom firmware was 3.03 OE-A, and I am currently running 3.40 OE-A. Since my change to 3.03, I can connect to my WAP and see that I have a valid IP, subnet, gateway, and DNS. However, whenever I try to access a website, I receive the message that there was an internal DNS error. The error is the same between the two firmwares. I will try to get the exact message later when I'm home to do so.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated (thoughts or ideas related to the topic, that is ).

Well, I don't know why It would not let you connect to the internet. The firmware could have a bug in it that they have to fix or it's just you don't have the right settings on your psp to connect to the internet. Try and see if they have an update to the current virsion you are on and install that one. If it does not help. Uninstall it and wait for a new firmware to come out. Also recheck your psp settings.

Hmm, are you connecting via DHCP? If you're using static IP, it might be a good idea to test if your settings are correct by connecting via DHCP. Anyway, try restoring default system settings (should be in the system menu), and set-up your wireless again. It's possible your connection settings might have gotten corrupted somehow. You might also want to compare the connection settings on your PSP with the one on your PC.

Usually the values are as follows:
IP: unique
Subnet: 255.255.255.0 (unless you changed it from default)
Gateway: router ip address
DNS: modem ip address
