WPA key help

ok, so my livebox has WPA security on it, and i know my WPA key. but, EVERY time i try to connect, it keeps bringing up the messages 'connecting to the access point' and 'exchanging key information' until it finally says 'A connection error has occurred. The key information exchange timed out.'

THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!

Okay, i dont know how this is set up by providers in the UK but as far as i know you have to pair 3rd party hardware with the livebox. You have to press the pairing button on the livebox before attempting to connect.

War - my psp wifi isnt working thats the point of this thread:/ lol

Im sure WarAuthority meant to ask whether your switch was turned on or not. Is obvious, but sometimes the obvious fixes are overlooked.

EDIT: problem solved!!

my livebox security was set to WPA or WEP which i hadnt noticed before, so when the PSP selcted WPA-TKIP i set it to WEP and it worked perfectly
