I am thinking of getting a Wireless router so I can use the internet on my PSP. The main reason is so I can listen to a internet radio station around the house without using the PC. At the moment I click on it and it opens via Windows media player. Can I use the PSP web browser to listen to it?

Hey,

I was listenening to Radio 1 on the Pc...working no probs. Hooked up the psp to the wireless network and went on the beeb website. When trying to listen to Radio 1 the site detected I didnt have realplayer installed so I clicked the link and downloaded it into Psp Common Folder and tried again to listen, this time it connected and said it was playing live but no audio came through. Also tried it again after moving the Realplayer file into Psp System Folder. So im guessing its not going to work.

Haha, Ok first of all this is the wrong place because what you are asking has nothing to do with internet radio or wireless. I think you should have started a new thread in software, but oh well here we go. The best places to get homebrew (these programs) would be www.pspupdates.com or www.psp-hacks.com Both are trusted sources and you shouldn't have to worry about what you get from them (ie, no spyware, viruses, or apps that don't work). To downgrade from 2.0 to 1.5 google "MPH downgrader" or go to pspupdates.com and search for mph downgrader and you should find all the needed files as well as a tutorial. You should also read the sticky by jsh in the software section titled "The Ultimate Emulator FAQs ver 1.3" or something close to that. That will give you the basics of how to put homebrew on you psp. Good luck and you can PM (private message, just click my name and then click send a private message to Drizzle) and I can help you more if you need it.

EDIT: If you are running a virus scan, some applications you get from pspupdates or psp-hacks will show up as viruses. These are false positives (meaning they are not viruses but because they alter the psp firmware they are flagged as viruses). As long as you get your programs from a trusted source (which both sites are) you will be fine.
