Cant connect to internet to play need for speed 5.1.0

i have an internet connection and it lets me set up a new one but then it says that there is a connection error.........

What firmware are you running.I kept getting that on 3.72m33,then i went back to 3.52m33-4 & haven't had a problem since.

my broswer does that with every cf ive had installed on it. works when it wants. anyway no one would be online in that game anyway. lol

i would sugget you do a scan for a access point and if it pick up ur wireless point, do a easy install.

is this a new problem? or did you connect before without a problem, now you cant?

if its a new problem, could be your fw or your router.
is dhcp turned on, on your router?
in order for your psp to be connected, it must have a MAC address.
check your router settings
