Can't use encryption?

Ok I'm tired of reading/searching through threads, so I'm going to post now.

I cannot get my PSP connected to my home wireless network. I can if I take out encryption, but this leaves my network open to freeloaders. I use a WEP encryption key to prevent people from being able to just jump on. However I can only get my PSP online if I delete the encryption. During the network setup, there is no where to choose things like Channel, Network Authentication (ie: Open or Shared) ...does anybody have an idea of how I can get this to connect?

yeah there is, i've seen it everytime i set up a new network.

my psp is currently bricked, so i can't look and tell u exactly how to do it, but if noone else does i can tomorrow evening.

Well you go to wifi or internet. The last thing on the last, click all the way right. click the one right above the web browser, then click new network, if you have a password you enter it in there. I cant be real clear because me slim is just like the above, bricked, I have to wait till tuesday for my friends battery.
