PSP´s Wi-Fi card

Hi,

I have a PSP with 3.80 Original Firmware. I want to add an external antenna to it. So where do i get the connector that makes the PSP´s wifi antenna connector that is a "UFL connector" to an N Male

The antenna im using is a cantenna that you can see in cantenna.com

Does this connector works?

hey mate and welcome to the forum
i my self am looking into doing something like this shortly
im not to sure but im think that the cantenna doesn't require any addition power
so yeah im fairly sure you could just connect the n male straight on to the internal wifi antenna.

if this all works fine please post here and let us all know.

as for the web key cracker i believe that one is being made right now
and should be out shortly.

But does the link of the pigtail i gave you can connect to the UFL´s connector of the PSP?

What type of cable does that pigtail that they sell in ebay is it? is and RG58 or a very small one

Anyways, by the looks of the u.fl connector on the item you posted above it look like it will work. As the psp's u.fl connector is exactly the same.

From the looks of the antenna that you posted above it looks like it will fit the psp's u.fl. So just take out the stock antenna from the psp and replace it with the one you got and you should be set.

Dude, i know im posting like MAD late on this topic board, but there is something i use all the time quite successfully, and its VERY user friendly and the program does all the work for you, where all you have to do to use it, is open the program look on the list that pops up for the SSID that you want. And copy the WEP/WPA Key, its called "Key View". GOOGLE IT!

Just having a read of this and thinking....haven't I seen something like this before.

Oh yes. I did a post on this about a month ago. No, not using the rediculously large tube (cantenna.com) with a standard antenna in the base. Just using a normal antenna with a 7db rating.

There a company in the UK that sell the pigtail with the correct connectors though your minimum order quantity is 50.

I did agree a deal with them to do a 10 off order and the cost would be about £10 a pigtail with connectors.

This pictail gives you the option to add any antenna with the atandard thread type.

I had been looking to make a proper fitting port on the back of the PSP but once the custom FW came about I can't stop playing on the thing.
