Default Wpa2-psk Aes?

I have a little question about connecting my PSP to the Internet.
We have a wireless network at home. It uses the WPA2-PSK AES encryption, and when I try to connect the PSP, it only tells me the SSID and says "not supported". Is there any kind of trick/program/whatever to make it work?
I'm using a fat PSP-1004 with CFW 3.71 m33.

Great question, I've had the same issue but never asked about it, I simply scaled back to WEP 64 bit with no boradcasting. My router sux and doesn't allow me to list more than 4 MAC addresses so I couldn't enable MAC filtering.

If you need to keep your security that high, may I suggest geting another router specifically for the PSP, scale back the security to what I have above and filter out all mac addresses with the exception or the PSP.

Lastly, check the official sony forums. Just tell them you have OFW if they ask. And if you find THE solution, please let us know.

Alright, I'll go and check. I can't really change the security settings, because of ... my stepdad. Our computers are both on the same network. He doesn't know a thing about computers, and doesn't allow me to meddle with the router settings although I know what I'm doing. Sheesh...

Well, you might want to plug in your own router then. You wouldn't have to worry about his WiFi settings as your router would connect via hardwire.

If that's the case, he won't notice jack shit if you change the wireless security anyway. Just use the same password. To get into the router settings you usually just need to type in the IP address. Default usernames and passwords can be found on Google.com.

Worst case scenario, do a full reset on your router (you generally hold the reset button for 30 seconds - the process can vary), set everything up again and say the router wasn't working. If he's a dick, just say you had to call the router manufacturer and they instructed you to do so. I had a stubborn stepdad as well, but honestly, dude... you shouldn't have any troubles changing your wireless security.
