He wants to use his Nintendo WiFi USB adaptor for things other than his DS, like his PSP. Normally, you can only use it with a DS, but with certain software, it will function as a normal wifi transmitter. Basically you plug it into a computer and it turns the wired connection into a wireless one. It's intended for people who don't have routers.
