When my wireless box breaks (which im sure it will)
What are the first things to check?

erm, unplug it for a few mins an then plug it back in? usually works for me

Wireless box? You mean your wireless router?

They don't usually just "break" lol.

I've had a buffalo for 4 years running custom firmware that just went bad 3 weeks ago - and that was only because it got hit with lightening through the cable line.

If and when it goes bad, just ask on the forum. This is what I do, as well as a few others on the site I'm sure.
