There is a homebrew program called IRShell that contains a program called NetHost which allows you to view files on your PC through WiFi so I do nto see why it would not let you copy that way...it may take forever but idk...try it i guess.

You can also try PSP-FTPD. It's an FTP server. Not especially easy to set it up, but it works great once you do. Get an FTP client running on your PC and connect to your PSP's IP address on the local network.

Damn, I would of just said "Get IR Shell" but you smart people destroyed my simple answer with words and programs I don't even know about/understand. Good job.

Something to keep in mind regarding transfers over wifi... if you use the pspftpd, there's no additional software you need on any of the computer systems you use.

What if you didn't have to figure out what the IP address of your computer was and you could call up your PSP by typing in "PSP" as the address of the ftp server? It's easier for some to perform the transfer over wifi than it is to find a free usb port. Considering the limitations of USB, I'd say 540kb/s upload is pretty damn good by comparison. The maximum download I've seen so far is close to 1380kb/s. The best part... start the copy and walk away from the computer with your PSP in hand. As long as you are still in range of the wireless connection, you're set.

Guys,

Combining Filezilla with a connected PSP at home, you can remotely transfer files to your PSP from a remote computer right?(By connecting to your homenetwork) (Assuming the PSP stays on the network).

Cheers.

Exactly, PoisonWolf. Any FTP client should be compatible with PSP-FTPD. It also helps to set up your PSP's network connection with a static IP so you can just set up one server connection in Filezilla and be done with it. Finally, there's a new version available now at the same site.

robby, why are you trying to turn this into a debate? Why is it any of your business whether someone wants to transfer their files through a cable or not? The title of this thread is "PC files to PSP via wifi", not "what are the advantages of transferring files wirelessly compared to using a USB cable". We're all aware of the pros and cons.
