Wireless connex probs

All,

I'm having problems connecting to my WAP. When a "Test Connection" is performed, it returns 1% signal strength & says that it failed the internet connectivity test -- no error code is produced however.

Here are the relative details:
PSP "OS" version is 1.52 (via USB update)
The WAP & cable modem have been power cycled
The PSP has a static IP
The necessary ports (10070 - 10080 TCP & 10070 UDP) have been forwared to the PSP
The WEP key has been entered properly
The PSP gets 95 - 100% signal strength anywhere in my house (via the auto-detect)
The PSP's MAC address has been entered into the WAP

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
