It would be nice to see a WEP cracker. Very useful for people like me who have dial up and want to use their neighbors connection. :P

Would this be possible if so does anyone else like the idea?

stealing peoples WiFi is wrong...lol
i have an idea, become really good friends with them....get them into elrctronics and PSP stuff, maybe theyll give you there WEP key...just an idea

Well If the network is unencrypted I think its totally leagle to use thier connection because they've done nothing to protect them selves.

well you could call them saying you were a certain company needing their wep for govt. reasons oh.. say like the patriot act. and if they were niave enough then you might have a winner... but not legal!

my neighbor has a router but i dunno where he lives exactly. when i move i get a weaker/stronger signal. but the weird thing is when i lay on the floor on my porch the strength is like 70%. i may be neighbors with mole people called 'adam ross'

Ha, you know how long it would take to crack a WEP key, I think its 256bits, but Im too lazy to google it. Want
wifi? get a job pay for broadban, and buy a wireless router.
