I have a problem with my PSP, it that my wireless thingy is not supported for my PSP, and I heard that you can use your laptop as an access point. I have a Windows Vista. How do you change it so i can go on the internet?

orrrrr you can be a bamf like me and hack your cell for free tethering (QPST ftw.) connect cell phone to laptop via usb or bluetooth, share your internet connection, then wirelessly play your psp and watch youtube while your on a road trip.
its not that bad i average almost 1mb download speed with 3G and like 4 bars.

Dude You Can go to a different security setting.I had the same problem.I had a netgear blah ... Go to router settings .Change the security to the one supported by the psp like wpa(tsik) or wpa(aes).that should do the trick.I did it today.
Tell me if it did work for you. |

G is a faster connection.
A then B then G then N (N is the best) |

Computer as access point
Hi...
I live in an apartment complex where they only give 1 computer access to their wireless internet, and I live with other people that have computers and they alll have wireless cards for their computer. I want to know how I could use, just my computer, if it is possible, to act as a wireless access point distributing internet to the other computers in my apartment. If this is at all possible, please let me know how I can do this, and if it is not possible with just my computer, then what do I need to get, hardware, to be able to.
Thank you so much... |
