Default WiFi Access Points

Does anyone know of any public places that offer free WiFi access points? Places such as McDonalds, Starbucks, etc.(im not sure if McDonalds or Starbucks has it, I'm just using it as an example).

if it is free, (i remember that panera had a free wifi sign when i entered the building) then usually you just ask and theyll give you the wep key. same for hotels.
