PSP Wireless adaptor question
Okay, here's what I'm thinking, though I'm not completely sure if it's even workable.
I know that Laptops can use their LAN capability to take a computer connected to it and put it on the internet by making the IP of the LAN (computer to Laptop) 192.168.0.1 ... and then the computer will adjust and be able to go on the internet via the laptop's wireless...
I know that there are wireless adapters, whether it be USB or PCI, it doesn't matter, though in this case it'd be smarter to consider the USB ones.
And I know that the PSP can connect via USB to a computer...
The only question is, is there a way to get the PSP to give the computer internet by using the USB cable in the same way that the Laptop uses the LAN cable? It would seem that it's possible because USB wireless adapters do it.. though I'm not quite sure how it'd be done (that and it would probably require drivers...)
My idea here is that one could reverse engineer a wireless driver and try to see how to adjust it to the PSP's USB connection. A pain, I would think. And I'm no programmer so it would be too much of a pain for me to do... and it might not even be possible. Can anyone give me some resources and/or tips on how to do this? |
