hi ppl, i've been trying to play killzone liberation online but im not sure if i should download the upgrade patch since i have cfw 5.00m33 and the question is...when you download the patch, also downloads ofw? if not, i'll be able to play using 5.00m33? i don't have a mms or pandora to fix my psp if something goes wrong.. i need your help guys

and if you play some of the games listed below, just put the name of the game you play and your username so we can play!! i live in L.A i don't know what gmt time we use but...anyway i play a lot during weekends, oh and my universal nickname is wolfnuka if you want to add me, just list your nickname and game and we'll be in touch, see you around guys and if you can give me any tip about online games....would be much appreciated

Sounds good, problem is you said you live in L.A so that would most likely mean u have the U.S versions of those games... i live in Australia and i have the European versions =/

I doubt the patch downloads ofw. Killzone isn't on Sony's servers. Besides, they can't force ofw on you. I think the patch stops cheaters?

there are two downloads.

one is the chapter five patch which consists of an extra chapter in story mode and 2 new maps for online play.

two is infrastructure support for online gaming.

5.00m33 is irrelevant this games' infrastructure mode does not tie into PSN.

aight...so i downloaded the update patch for killzone liberation and installed, i created an account, but when i join to any server after 3 or 4 sec playing the psp freezes and it shuts down... i don't know what is wrong, any ideas?

3 or 4 seconds after you join a game or 3 or 4 seconds after you select the combat zone (online) selection under multiplayer and then login?

are you using the UMD? does ADHOC work? more info....

ok, sorry for the lack of info, im running an iso, it's a backup, since i gave the umd to a friend because since i can play isos i thought i wouldn't need it anymore...well.......when i join a server and i start playing, i can move and shoot and everything but after 4 seconds playing the psp freezes and then it shuts down, in every single server, i've installed the patch and the chapter five, may be the server can recognize that i am playing using a iso, i don't really know,

can anyone confirm that?

Disable Plugins. I've used the ISO and the UMD both online and have no problems...Maybe yours was a bad rip.

Patch 1 was 2 Extra Chapters.
Patch 2 was an Infrastructure Update as stated above.
